"I wake up every day excited to go to work again. I love it!" On the outside, Maggie Umlauf's life seemed perfect: She'd worked her way through college after a stint in the United States Navy and became a Physician Assistant, helping to save the lives of trauma and ER patients. She and her husband Jim had settled in Phoenix and the two were starting to think about having children. But the truth was a little more complicated. Maggie's job of ten years was high pressure. Working in a hospital often kept her for 10+ hours a day and weekend rotations were expected of her at minimum once a month. The couple knew starting a family with such a hectic schedule would be very difficult. So Maggie decided to look for something a little more reasonable. Maggie stumbled upon a course that would enable her to work a four-hour workweek. When she approached Jim to tell him she'd like to find a way to work from home with flexible hours, he responded with a laugh and said "everyone wants to figure out how to do that!" After some initial reluctance, Jim gave Maggie his support and she enrolled. The above results reflect Maggie's new endeavor: a career working from home on her own schedule. So what allowed her to go from registration in March 2013 to making $50K a month in July 2014? Keep reading to find out. SPOILER ALERT: Maggie Umlauf, career Physician Assistant and former military, quit her day job on July 7th, 2014. She doubled her monthly sales the following month. Read her full story here.
