That's the idea behind Auto Context, a free Firefox add-on. The biggest downside to this app is that it doesn't work in more applications. Once you install the add-on to your Firefox browser, it goes to work. Whenever you highlight any text on a Web page, Auto Context automatically displays a pop-up menu that offers easy access to some of the tasks you're most likely to need. Once again however, it looks like those rumors can be put to bed with Komiyama's admission that, "It does require a lot of evaluation, as well as a lot of testing, a lot of acceptance from a consumer viewpoint, and there is still some time to go."
